This drawing was made with a simple ballpoint pen, as far as I remember, in St Albans in 2019; unfortunately, I do not remember the month. It is part of a series. The coloured sections were made with the most basic school gel pens, which I came to like because, due to their shimmering colours, it felt like a challenge to use them to realise things according to my ideas. Like most of my drawings, this too was a sketch for a later series of paintings, since at the time I did not have a studio or the opportunity to paint.
